Looking forward to meeting you in the hills. Watch out for mason jars-they tend to mess with the brain cells. Have a safe trip over.
The essence of the hunt for me is to enter nature and observe+ return safely occasionally with the gift of a life taken.

Well, Jeff, I finally got your  Wing Bone Call (along with the other four I was working on) finished last night. Now all I have to do is get them packed and sent out this coming week (yours to Bob of course, as we discussed). Of course I did have one heck of a time getting the New Zeeland accent into that one of yours though - you may have to work with it a little more to get it down pat -    ;)  Enjoy your flight - that's an order -   :p

Ian it will just be fun being there and meeting all these guys and killie oh did i say killie?  :D  yup its going to be a hoot just trying to shoot tree rats. now i am looking foward to that for sure. if i see a deer it will be an honour. most of all it will be an  opportunity to form freindships with all these great people i have come to call family.  :notworthy:  . Dunno if I will see you Jeff. The twelfth is a Friday, and I don't think I can make the trip after a full day at the P.O. It is a three to four hour drive for me, and Fridays usually see me working till almost five o'clock. Add on an hour to go home and fetch the dog, and another hour for the knuckleheads making their grand exit from the city, and I will fall asleep and be killed.

I can try it Saturday, for sure, if the Mason Jar will be there.  :p

That  is definitely not an option, Killie. I can't take another one of those. You stay out of that vehicle 'til you get your rest.

Besides, you have to have a special "Permission Chit" to wind up "killed" and I ain't  even  givin' it to ya - not even to meet friend Jeff. Or to anybody else, come to think on it - y'all be careful up there and keep it a "good times" hootnanny.

Well, I can't afford to bugger up the truck, anyway.  "[dntthnk]"

My old dog  could  drive. I took this pic of her backing into her parking space. She doesn't hang out the window like an amateur, either, she uses her mirrors like a good trucker. Nice placement in the space, too.

Have a great visit and a super hunt Jeff! By the way, thanks for the info on hunting in NZ. I think my buddy and I are going with Gerald Fluerty and WildSide Adventures in April 2009. Gerald and I have been e-mailing one another a few times now and he seems like a real nice guy! Can't wait!
