Here's a better pick of the new buck that showed up, he's not super wide but boy does he makeup with a lot of character. They grow so fast and he has been hitting the mineral hard everyday since he showed up.

I hope so Charlie, We just got the cams going and I sure would like for him to show up. He will be 7yrs old this year and the way he looked last year I beat his rack is really wild this year. awesome fruit and nut year tree wise and crops are really good too.

That buck is up in the clearing and has 3 buddy's that are real nice too.

Charlie, The clearing is were you sit in your gillie suit and in the blind up above the barns.

Its just a matter of time Travis before you start getting some of those big guys on your cams. looking forward to it bud.

John, I treat my cams just like I am hunting because I really am. Its easy to get picks of deer but hard to get picks of really big deer up close and personal just like we like our shots and to do it consistently year after year is so much fun and challenging. Big old velvet covered bucks fire me up for the season.

Thanks for the nice comments and great picks guys keep them coming there growing fast right now.

Sorry to post picks of the same bucks but were getting more cams out now and should have some new critters to show soon. I just got photobucket finally downloaded on my laptop so the picks should be better now.

I sure like this bucks main beams!

You can see how fast the big guys g3's split in 5 days

These picks are in a small clearing in the woods on a ridge just above a valley full of crops. It is not a food plot but we do keep it mowed and a mineral lick there. We have been hunting this place for a very long time and It fills up with scrapes during the rut! I have gotten several PM's asking if it was a food plot.

Charlie, you know that is a real decent buck for our part of the world. Most don't get that big.
