finally got a decent buck hanging around. I spent some time and effort trying to make my few acres thicker. It's working. This is an area were a buck would be lucky to reach 2.5 yrs old. The photo was taken about 100 yards from my house and 100 yards from a main road.

This one is from the northern part of the state near our hunting camp. This is big woods country, all public land. Our famed PA deer hunting woods. This is an area where herd reduction was taken to an extreme in effort to improve habitat. I am happy to see a deer at all. So this is great! The camera was hung for 3 months. I had 680 photos of what appears to be 7 different deer. 4 does and 3 buck. Only this buck is legal. (must have 3 per side). The camera also recorded 3 bears and 2 coyotes.

BTW, my camera date/time will not stay set. My photos from this week say January 2013.
It is a bushnell trophy cam. I keep fixing the time time. It goes back to military time when I use it.
This is the first I noticed the year is wrong.
Anyone know how to fix that?

There is a posibility that his deer is on the downward side. His muscles are really hard looking. I saw a buck like him. (read- I missed him with a rifle) about 3 years ago. He was bigger then. It could just as easily be a different deer but I wonder?

Great Looking Deer Guys. I have not been able to place my camera for 3 weeks. I hope to stick it out today or tomorrow.

kbetts, Nice pics. I like that cluster of trees in your photos, too. Looks like great cover to hang a stand inside. Good luck!

Nice pics Drew . I just put my camera out yesterday ( down to one because someone stole my other one ) . Made a nice little scrape and doctored it up with some Smokeys preorbital and foot gland scent can't wait to check it in a few weeks.

Good Looking Bucks Drew. You can call the one "Curly". Save him for Manny's arrow, you can shoot the Hog in your first photo.
I just put out my camera today. Finally have these deer figured out... They do whatever the want. Huh, imagine that!
Rumor has it a few good ones were photographed at the family farm.

We noticed something was pulling down our blue berry plants so I set the trail cam up on them. We've had a young bear around for the last month so that's what I was expecting. In about 2 weeks this is the only interesting pic...
