What time of the day do you all check your trail cameras? I hadn't really given this much thought, but on Monday when I went to check mine, I got this...
She was watching me walk in to check my camera, and without this pic, I never would have even known she was there.
After I got all the pictures off the card I created a chart that has picture frequency for each hour of the day. Not surprising, but deer were present primarily in the morning between 4am and 9am, and then again from 5pm till 8pm. There were a few pictures scattered at various other times of the day, but most were around daybreak and dusk hours. I don't know why I didn't think of this before
... but for now on, I will make every effort possible to go to my camera/stand sites during the mid-day, when they hopefully aren't there.
