This one is a new buck I had not seen yet.  At least 10pts and some decent mass for my area.  Look close in the oak over his left shoulder and you will see where I will be putting my father for the opener  :)

This is a buck I call "Chester" He's the buck I'm hunting right now.

"Lefty" has cleaned up real nice except for a little character velvet still left on his droptine. My son came close to getting him this morning, Maybe tonight   :D

Good luck everybody!

Great Deer Tracy.

I checked my Camera this morning to find the Card Stolen and the Battery Port Damaged.

Must have been the 4Wheeler Trespasser with Tracks going right past.

That sucks Charlie, I've had one card stolen once this year and one erased. I'm glad they didn't steal my cam but it still makes you want to hurt somebody.

I hope your cam is fixable!

Nice ones Ed.

Tracy, Thanks for the condolences. I was able to get the camera working again. I set it over a small ditch that's collecting acorns. The deer are walking the bottom sucking them up.  Its at a spot where 3 of the most pronounced trails also cross it.

Its in a small strip of woods that divides one field with Corn and alfalfa and the other side is CRP.  It seems they cross the CRP and mill about in this strip before heading out in the open, then vise versa on the way back to bed.

My Dad has a pic of a coyote with a rabbit in its mouth. I hope to have it shared in the next day or two.
Relax,
