Glue for broadhead & adapter

Looking for some type of adhesive to glue broadhead onto adapters. I need a little time to make adjustment but want it to stay put after that.

I have had real good luck using Loctite super glue gel. Wal mart has it and it is the one in blue and black plastic squeeze bottle.
I have arthritis real bad in my hands and find it hard to squeeze the container. So I always cut the outside blue and black plastic off so you just have the small squeeze tube inside.
I have used it several years for fletching and broadheads or inserts. It has always held up good.

JB weld about as strong as your going to get, a slow cure epoxy.
Big Jim's quick stick hot melt works well also.
Whatever you use clean parts meticulously to remove machining oil, I prefer denatured alcohol.

I like 5 minute epoxy because it gives me enough time to get the broadheads set up on the adaptors in the position I like (11&5 O:clock)also give me enough time to spin test everything before the glue sets up.

I've used JB Weld, Loctite 5 minute, and Devcon 5 minute epoxy with excellent results.

I use epoxy on customer's heads that I want a permanent bond on, low temp hot melt on mine (Super 735) cause I like to move things around from time to time. I'd suggest the epoxy or JB Weld for your purposes.
I've never had any problem with either in actual use, but I tested epoxy vs hot melt against each other some years ago out of curiosity. With enough force and persistence the hot melt would eventually give, but the epoxy wouldn't budge and the shank on the steel broadhead adapter actually broke first. I was impressed!

Thinking about only epoxying the one I am using for target practice. I like the adjustability of hot melt.

when you guys use jb what is your process of spin testing? do you wait a little bit or does the head sit pretty stable when the jb is fresh?

I have gone to the Stanley gold glue stick. I like to be able to adjust, remove and replace broadheads. It takes a lot of heat to get it runny soft, but I have not lost a broadhead in my targets since goint to it. Like it was mentioned clean that oil film off everything, even with the hot melts. I while back my wife was poed at me, I put the glue stick on the work table down stairs. she could not pull it off the table. I had to heat it to get it to move.
