Honestly, our entire state is really nice for hunters....and quiet inexpensive.

If I have one complaint, it is the fact deer leases have become prevalent in the last 10 years...

Real close to where I live.  Excellent deer numbers.  Finding or owning private land would be very helpful.  Not to far from the Clay WMA which I hear has excellent hunting.  I think you should do it and buy tons of land...oh yeah and let me hunt too!  Lol

May consider Madisonville Western KY area.

Numerous WMA’s from 25 minutes to an hour away. Abundant quality fishing opportunities and great turkey hunting… central to a plethora of 3D shoots…type in zip code 42413 on 3Dshoots.com to verify…Approximately 70”s from Twin Oaks.

BIG RIVERS WMA & STATE FOREST…6,729 acres…Union & Crittenden County

HIGGINSON-HENRY WMA…5,450 acres…Union County…DEER &TURKEY-BOW ONLY!!

JONES-KEENEY WMA 1,999 acres Caldwell County

KENTUCKY LAKE WMA…. 4,044 acres….Calloway & Marshall County

LAKE BARKLEY WMA…907 acres…Trigg & Lyon County

PEABODY WMA 46,431 acres Ohio, Hopkins & Muhlenberg County

PENNYRILE STATE FOREST…14,724 acres…Christian & Caldwell County

SLOUGHS WMA…10,998 acres…Henderson & Union County

TRADEWATER WMA…729 acres….Christian & Hopkins County

Note: I believe we have far too many deer in my area, yet we maintain excellent quality. I have hit nine deer since 1985.

Several hungry Trad Gang guys here.

You should come down in April for the Kentucky trad fest.  Take a tour of bourbon country, probably be close to catching the horse racing and turkey season too.

Good hunting all over this state. I've hunt all over the state on private and public lands. I live in the southeastern part of the state and the hunting is good and the fishing is good. The best fishing is in Tennessee though if u want my opinion.

Gottabow,
I just moved down to Harrison Co a couple of years ago and love it. Lots of deer and the bow season is long and the bag limits are generous. Many state WMAs, as Friend mentioned, and I've not had too much difficulty getting access to private land. But, ya, the lease disease is creeping in.
May your friends be as many as the promises you keep.
