On the sideline "surgery"

Had shoulder surgery Friday "AC joint" remove part of collar bone and release bicep tendon" at work with one arm today. Doc say's went well, pray I will be back shooting longbow by Easter. Therapy starts at noon wish me luck had to take this chance couldn't shoot without it.

Good luck DD, talk to Jeff Roberts he is recovering from similar type surgery now and should be able to start shooting this spring as well.
They'll be no quitters till we bag us some critters!

My boss had it last year. He's back hitting a golf ball 300 yards again. I don't envy you doing PT but it's important.  Make sure you share your hobby with your therapist and they understand fully what's involved in archery.

good luck had it done about a year and a half ago its great now but I do not want to go through it again it heals slow do not rush it and do the p t

I had that surgery on both my shoulders.  My only advice would be to be patient and follow the Phy Therapy schedule.  I rushed my right shoulder and ended up having to get it redone.  Left I listened and everything went well.
