Well I had an earlier post about the Centaur "birthing", you can see those pics here-
http://tradgang.com/noncgi/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=134827;p=3 Jim finished up and shipped the bow from MT on Thursday.... it arrived today (Saturday) in Jasper, Alabama... although the USPS got it here FAST the box was in 2 pieces, made me nervous, but no harm done!
The specs on the bow are 60", 51#@28", Curly maple limbs, bamboo and XTL core, Cocobola riser with black accents.
So far ive shot CE 250, 150, and GT 35/55 with from 175 to 250 up front and they all fly true out to 30 yards. Its amazing how spine tolerant the Centaurs are, at least in my experience. Ive settled in on the 150's cut to 30" with 175 up front.
The grip has subtle yet very purposeful contours all in the correct places, and the shelf is perfectly sculpted to get your hand nice and high. I opted for no finger grooves for a couple reasons, 1 is the best Centaur grip I have felt dindt have grooves, and it will also be easier to Wrap if I decided to go that route (thinking black beavertail).
Here are a few quick photos, I will try and get limb and profile pics tomorrow, Sun didn't cooperate today!
