selfbow question??
« on: January 19, 2014, 08:42:00 PM »
I went out today and cut a couple of young trees for my first attempt at a self bow this summer.  I have rough cut the staves and identified the back, keeping all the same growth ring.  I plan to store them in the basement to dry till at least mid-summer (or longer??).  I plan to seal the ends and the back with poly...do I need to seal the belly side of the stave as well???
