There was a conversion kit for diameters for footing wood shafts on the How To Section on the main page.

A 2114 worked fine on 35/55 for me.

2117s work well for me on 3555 Trads. Make sure the inside is clean and the rim is cleaned up and without a burr. I actually can feel a slight wiggle using 2117 as footing on those carbons.

Lightly sanding the tip of shaft will not only make for a better bond but also loosen fit.

Better snap up 2115s if you can find them. I thought they were discontinued..

X2 what katman said

I lightly sand the first inch of my GT 3555 Trads before I foot them with a piece of 2117. Just enough to roughen it up. It fits a little better and helps with adhesion. I have been using Devcon 2-part epoxy with great results.
