ChuckC, they are guided hunts, or as guided as you want them to be. For instance, a lot of guys want to do there own calling, etc.
We have large pop-up blinds set up in good spots where we've personally seen toms and hens(those can be relocated as needed). We have different decoy styles or you may use your own.Thanks.

Scott look into what Osceola hunts cost down there...he's half priced! It is a unique species, one that many of us jump out if our skin to hunt. I doubt he will have trouble moving those hunts on the open market but instead tries to keep his clients here on Tradgang. Better than fair market in my opinion...

By the way, land here is 5000 an acre and I bet I could get 5k from a lot of people to hunt whitetails here in Illinois.

Thanks for the response Tarponnut,

I guess I won't be buying any land in S. Fl. anytime soon:)

Wishing you and your hunters a safe and successful season.

Jim & Irv's got some great property, with a lot of birds on them.  I'm a turkey guy, Id pay that for an Osceola in a heart beat, and I have!!  I wouldn't pay that for an Eastern.  You not going to kill an Osceola anywhere else. I'll be down there again, probably not this year, but hopefully next.

That is an   incredibly reasonable price for a   trespass Osceola hunt, much less a guided one. I am OUT of vacation time or would be on the way    :(

Lucky guy who snags this hunt. I know enough guys that have been to know it is a great opportunity.  Of course you could play the Florida turkey lottery and hunt am over pressured WMA. It would be a lot cheaper...   :knothead:

That's an amazingly generous offer, giving the going rate most other places. I've hunted family property in the Palatka area. There are a few hunting properties in the area and you'll pay way more to hunt them.

If I was not bringing the family down for an early March hog hunt/family vacation I would be going after turkeys again.

See you in a month and a half Jim.

If things work out, hopefully turkeys again in 2015.

I recommend Jim and Irv 100%.

I just got this thread cleaned up.....please, let's keep this one going in the right direction from now on!

It's simple, if you're not interested in this great opportunity.....then don't respond negatively about it.

And thank you to the guys that did as best they could to keep this thread going    :notworthy:

Thank you Curt, for your clean-up of the thread and your sensible comments.

Everyone has a budget...we know that. It' s like a wise man once told me when I was a kid. I commented that I thought his car was "too expensive".
He replied..." maybe it's not too expensive...maybe it's that you can't afford it".

As I continued on my paper route that day, I thought about what he said and it made perfect sense.

Opinions on costs aside...I can promise we will try our best to provide you a great experience.
Many thanks to our existing clients who help bear this out.

Hey gang...missed all of the previous cleaned up posts, but I assume they were in regards to the hunting rates for Osceola turkeys.  Having hunted with Jim and Irv last season, as well as w/two other outfitters in previous seasons, I can say that Jim and Irv's hunts are genuinely 1/2 the cost of the previous two (one of which never even presented me w/a single shot opportunity)!  Addn., I was fortunate enough to kill my biggest bird ever of the 20+ birds I've taken with trad equip., at True South Adv.  That made the price of admission worth every single penny  :)  PS: I'll be back with TSAs in March to chase birds as it's the best value and best hunt I've found in Florida.
