Not a real good picture but the riser is Cocobolo and the belly lams are Myrtle Burl from Idaho Curt, of course looks better in person.

I love myrtle or any of the other burls.  Claro walnut and koa are a couple of others that look great.  I like to window shop at sixby's eaglewing, caribow, blacktail, and Dan Toelké sites.  They have some great myrtle bows-  Someday, I hope to get one.  If I was to get a bow from one of the Oregon bowyers- it would have to have myrtle in it.  We will need pix of that WW when you receive it.

Another option in the medium to dark wood category is Olive Ash Burl.  After having both I prefer the Olive Ash personally

Here's one I sold to someone on here several yrs ago....a real beauty Robertson Vision Falcon. Myrtle makes a pretty bow!
