Does anyone know why pictures disappear from the how to tab.
Or why do pictures disappear from older threads.

My guess is the people who posted them moved them to a different folder or different host site or even deleted them from their picture hosting site.

This is my guess too. Even though a picture is posted on here it's not saved on here.

Various bows, but if you see me shooting, it's probably a Toelke in my hand!

That's why when I find a good How To post I copy the whole thing to a MS Word document and then print it to a pdf file. If I don't make a pdf file out of it I've found that MS Word will just link to the pictures so when they're gone on line they're gone in word. You can find free pdf software online.

Good advice. I can't count the times I saw something that was gone the next time I wanted to reference it.

Never thought of that BenBow, good idea.
I did not know that a posted picture is not a saved picture, still learning.
