I visited this site for a few years
intermittently. This is while I was shooting a compound bow. Also reading Traditional Bowhunter.

The tradional culture is as important to me as the equipment. I knew what direction I was headed long before I actually made the switch.

Took me about 2 minutes to join once I found the site.

I was doing a search about some info I needed concerning my first osage selfbow construction. Or, maybe it was a search about a Shrew bow I had just purchased, I can't remember which. Anyway, Tradgang popped up on my Google search and the rest is history.

I was working on a construction site in October of 2009 and met Guru. He steered me in the right direction and I signed up that evening. I have probably visited every day since.. I have learned so much and met some great friends

It took me awhile but because I had to be talked into getting a computer.

I bought this gadget and set this site up as my home page and joined.

Mr "T" once said "Mudd found us and set up camp".(About as close as it gets to what really happened)

I've never learned how to "surf the web" but never felt I needed more than 3 things from my computer, those being Tradgang,Crosswalk.com, and my e-mail.

I have a deep admiration for for the way this site runs as the result of it's leadership and it's membership.

God bless,Mudd

A friend referred me to it because he knew how irritated I had become with an existing site.

I joined right away but didn't post much for years.

I admit my first few dozen posts were to get my numbers high enough (100) to be able to buy bows on the classifieds. Then I became more involved in the discussions.

Joined right off the bat-or bow as is the case and haven't looked back. Got real tired of the bickering on the other available trad site. Have met some real good people and have enjoyed the many hours spent here.
The essence of the hunt for me is to enter nature and observe+ return safely occasionally with the gift of a life taken.

It took me 3 visits.  I wasn't back into archery yet full fledged on my first 2.  didn't even have a  bow, just knew I wanted to get into it. At first I was just day dreaming.

I am happy I did.  I have met a lot of great people and had some incredible hunts since joining.
Relax,

Thanks Terry,  I had not noticed the date down under.
I remember the bad times that led to you starting this site.
You've kept it just the way you said you would.

I guess I was a lurker for about 3 years when I was still working. I didn't even have a computer at home. When I retired and got a desk top I joined up. Lurked on a couple of other sites as well but thought this was the best one for me.....I think I was right.

I think it was posted on the old "Trading Blanket" that it would be ending and a new site starting. I joined right away and that new site was Tradgang and I been here ever since.
I belong to other sites but this one I always considered home.

I don't remember but it's free! So I'm sure I thought "why wait?" This site is much easier to use than some, I love it.
