Does anyone know if this company was sold or if anybody took over making these stands? I went to the site looking to get one of the really small backpack stands and see they went out of business a couple of years ago. They made great stands, solid and safe.

I understand they are out of business.  I have had three of these stands and I can't say enough about them.  Unfortunately  two were stolen. There must be someone who makes a stand that is as easy to hang, quiet and solid as Wedge Loc today but I  have not looked.

I've got two.  Love 'em.  Great product.  Hated it when they went out of bussiness.  Wish i has purchased a couple more for backups.

Great stands have a couple of 'em and a good amount of the brackets. Safe and QUIET and easy to hang.

A company called aerospace tree stands came out with a very similar style but they also went out of business after a few years. It's a shame, becasue both the chippewa and the aerospace were great stands. I lost my last one about 6 years ago to theft.

Great stand, and unfortunately they retired out of the business. My hunting partner is modifying a few stands to add the wedge lock and I have several extra straps. He also found a way to make the donuts that go on the straps and is making his own. They are sooo easy to hang and are very quiet.
