The difference a few weeks makes

8/28 Red coat, velvet covered antlers, eating grasses and leaves

 

9/15 (about 2 weeks later)Gray coat, hard racked and gorging on acorns to fatten up

 

Whitetails are so cool!

cool pics !!!! ........... interesting how much bigger antlers look in velvet ! ............ guess thats why so many people see "booners" in the summer and never find em in the fall ! ..... 8^)
