Would they have been taken apart to clean up the skulls?  From the pics, it looks like one tine on each skull, that's holding them together.

It is a beautiful piece.

They won't come apart! They are locked that way forever. Musta been one heck of a fight! Not sure if you can really tell in the pics Timm but one of them is a big 8 and the other is a 10 point.

Turn them into a nice table lamp. Nice wood base and lamp coming up out of middle.

thanks Brad! I wish I could take credit for finding them. A buddy of mine at work found them on his property and brought them to me.

Did you paint the skulls white?

Or did the just get that white when you bleach them.

Can you give a little how to instruction?

By the way, they are way cool!

BigHink, I'm not sure how my taxidermist did them. I'll have to ask him and let you know. Pretty sure it was just bleaching.

Peroxide guys not bleach. Bleach will soften the bone and it will eventually crumble on you.

Leroy, boil them in peroxide and water to whiten up skulls, remember to do this outside on a grill use a large pot then scrape meat and repete until they are as white as Don King's teeth. Jonesy
