Have you been working out?
That is a lot more wood than a Centaur.

And yes, that is a beautiful riser!
Kirk is good people.

that's true Killdeer, but the draw weight isn't real heavy, so I'm hoping it's a wash   :biglaugh:

Here are a couple more Larry.

There's a bit of a story here for you guys.... I met Larry at Etar in 2012. He had already placed an order, but came by my booth to meet me and shoot a few of my bows. As it turned out he fell in love with my hunting bow (Far left picture) and i built his Sas lb from the sister riser block. Bubinga / Wenge, and the reverse. I just happen to have his first bow here for refinishing with Thunderbird. so i thought we should get some family photos.

So the first two bows are sisters..... The new member of the family i guess we should call a cousin. This is the new static tip "Sasquatch SS"

I don't think anyone is going to believe them bro...But if you insist....

I did a very accurate testing using exact draw lengths and arrow weight at 9 & 10 gpp.  The 43 pound bow is getting 190 fps at 27" draw at10 gpp,  and 196 fps @ 9gpp.  I have never built a lower poundage bow shooting this fast at less than 29" draw. Not even using carbon... This is just a glass bow..btw...

Getting high performance out of a 48-55 pound bow at 28- 30" draw lengths is a lot easier having a longer power stroke. Getting good performance out of a light draw, low poundage bow is tricky to do.

I think i'd hang on to this one bro.....

Wow....does this mean you have another "Magic Bow" looking for a home??? You know, like a low wrist, 62", 45lbish Centaur just hanging around?    :bigsmyl:   I mean, I will be in New York in a couple of weeks.......

If yours, Larry, is anything like mine and a number of others I've talked to, looks won't be the only thing raising eyebrows!

It's been almost a year and a half and I'm STILL amazed at how well my Sassy Lady performs... even with heavy arrows... and low draw weight (47.5 at my draw of 28.5")

Kirk didn't tell me whose, but he did say he was getting some incredible speeds out of a shorter draw on a lighter bow...

All that testing he constantly does on design, lay ups, materials pays off in spades for us, the consumer!

Nice is not adequate word for the looks on that "sweeet thang".

Wait till you shoot er!  :)

I need to get you fixed up with an SS at about 44-45 pounds for those cold winter mornings hunting, and Spring time 3D... These are a ball to shoot at lighter weights.

Got my fist kill with the SS today, red squirrel at about 13 yrds. No hero pic, he was facing head on and I shot him with a clipped wensel woodsman, the arrow went thru from one end to the other, didn't make for a very good pic
