Thanks.  It's like a grown-up Easter egg hunt.  Plus it's a form of scouting for the next year.

My eye has yet to be keen enough to find anything shorter than 6 inches though.     :notworthy:

Very nice buck shed Brad!

Got out Friday, but never found anything. Got 2 feet of snow, and it's just melting back to where I can hike around.

Nice one......

One of these days the foot of snow that's in the woods will melt and I can look for some sheds too!    :banghead:

Walking in the snow is great for exercise... not so much for finding sheds.

I was in the woods for 4 hours yesterday. I just HAD to get out of the house. It wore me out. After about 2 hours I realized maybe it was a mistake to go out, but I was about 2 miles from the truck    :knothead:

You need snowshoes around my place to walk in the woods.  Snow depth up to your crotch in most places.  April before you will see a shed on the ground.

I have shown these before....I have a set from 2010 that are so spectacular that I had them mounted on a cape...world class... I like to share the pic from time to time...they score 210 and I include my good friend holding them to give perspective...this monarch died a year or so later by way of being struck by a vehicle...I saw him before he was killed a year after these sheds and he had broken his right antler off about 8 inches from the base while in velvet,,,looked for those sheds but  no luck..he lived in and hung out in an area that was 9 square miles so tough to pattern...
