A nice morning hike with the Whip.
« on: February 02, 2014, 05:16:00 PM »
It was a rare Sunday morning above freezing, this morning. I decided I would take advantage of it and get some outside shooting in. I walked out and shot this group from about 35 yards!

After pulling the arrows, my daughter came out and asked, "Dad, can we go for a hike?" I always enjoy spending time with her outdoors.

We headed out to a large piece of property that my family and I own. My daughter, Autumn, and my 9-month old lab pup, Willow, were excited to be in the woods!

Of course, I was not going in the woods without doing a bit of stump shooting!

I was having a good day shooting and a great day with my daughter!

Unfortunately, we hiked a couple miles without finding any deer sign! But then again, it is NH!

Hope everyone had a great Sunday!

Looks like you were on.  You've got more snow than we do.  Takes confidence to stump with that much snow. Looks like it was well founded. And on top of that, you got to spend some quality time with your girl.  Can't imagine a better day.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Let me see, couple of miles, snow, no deer sign. Sounds and looks familiar to me......the big piece?  Gotta be......snow and no deer sign.

Fantastic.  I got out yesterday and did the same thing.  I there is nothing like simple time spent in the woods.  Congrats on a great day afield.

Hey Seth, Nice pics! Who walked across that ice bridge? Looks mighty thin from here.

Beautiful country you have up there.
