Plunger ???

Need Help!!! Just started using a plunger with a flipper rest. I shoot 3 under and have a good solid anchor and use the tip of the field point as a front sight {bow vertical}. The problem is, when I place the point on target, I'm hitting about 5" to the left at 20 yds so I have to compensate and aim about 5" to the right. Does adjusting the plunger do any good or do I have to go to a different spine arrow. This might sound a little confusing but I'm new to this Plunger stuff. Any help would be a blessing. Thanx ,...Lloyd

If the arrow is flying well without fishtailing. then i would try adjusting the plunger. Try moving the plunger in towards the riser, if you are right handed.

Try loosening your spring tension first . 1/4 turn at a time. Then if that does not do anything move the plunger into the riser. if Neither one helps then you may need to go to a weaker spine.
If you want a good tuning method. Google tuning for tens.
I used this when I shot compounds with fingers (flipper/ plunger combo) and it was amazing how forgiving my set up became.

As bowhunters we tend to forget that Olympic style shooter have been fine tuning with plunger type rests for a long time...why not see if you can find a local target coach or shooter to give you some advice
