You might say I like them also-Hummingbird Kingfisher, RER Vortex, and Lost Creek Envy. Recurves gathering dust.
The essence of the hunt for me is to enter nature and observe+ return safely occasionally with the gift of a life taken.

I love hybrids. Better performance than more traditional longbows, but way easier to make than a recurve. I agree with others, when hunting I think they go through the brush better than a recurve. Used a recurve last year for the first time, it seemed to snag every bit of brush I walked by.

Hybrids are my favorite.

In my opinion, some go too far to the recurve side so the string touches or vibrates on the belly side of the tips after the shot.

I dislike it when that happens..not from a purist point of view, but from a "no additional silencing required" point.

I really like the stability, forgiveness, and quietness of the hybrid, but you still get plenty of speed.

I love 'em! Way less hand shock than a 'pure' longbow and easier on this old man's joints! I like a little more mass in the riser than a hill style but not as much as a take down.

I have a Belcher Patriot which I like a lot.  It's about as much a  hybred as one could be.

I love my Royal Crown, made by Ron King of Fox Archery. I would have to say it is one of the nicest bows I have ever held in my hands.

The ones I've shot have been great. Pretty fast, low to no hand shock, and easy on the eyes. I really like the profile of a Hybred bow. I am just starting on a slow assemble of my dream bows. Among my list are two bows that are Hybreds. A Big Jim Buffalo bow and a Thunderstick MOAB.
Hopefully I can get them sooner rather than later. Might have to do some OT!!

Most of the bows I build are longbows with varying amounts of r/d giving them a hybrid look.  I really enjoy them!
