If it is the one that has a compression panel on the back and a replaceable square shaped core I would stay away.  Worse target I ever had.  Rhinehart!

Agreed, spend your money on a Rinehart or McKensie. You don't find Glendels at clubs for a reason.
Take care,
Jason

Love my glendel full rut buck. Has done me good and lasted a  long time.  I'm due for a new insert but that's not bad considering I've had it almost 4 years. I'd get another in a heart beat.

My wife gave a glendale several years ago. UGLY! I have to admit it lasted alot longer than I expected. The thing that tore mine up real fast was shooting from an elevated position. As long as the arrows enters the layers flat it doesn't do much damage. Broadheads will shred the layers fast.

I've had two Glendels in two years.  They do not hold up to heavy shooting.

I had one the older design I did not like that right under the insert there was  metal that ran across the bottom of the target and in the legs too so if I hit low I would trash an arrow.  So a low heart shot and I would toast an arrow (axis shafts mind you)The  rack on it was ridiculous  very cheap foam antlers broke the first day I had it . Well after I wore out the layered insert I went to buy a new one. And they redesigned the Glendel. So,I could not get the old style inserts. I could have special ordered one but I felt it was pointless. I would not buy a Glendel again I would look at Rhinehart. Also look at the prices of the replacement vitals. $300 is a lot to throw at a foam deer jmo..

I agree, stay away. The flap that goes over the top of the square insert will only withstand and couple shots. Once that thing gives the whole target falls to pieces. Mine lasted one month.

I've had a Full rut buck (the early one with the square insert) I have had it for 6 years, replaced the insert a few times it is now ready to be replaced.
BTW haven't had any problems with it coming apart.
It is weathered pretty bad.
I was shooting it today with my Bowtech and BHs.

The area above and below the insert will not hold up and the target will in two pc's in no time!

Add to that plastic legs, which if you hit them with a field point that penetrates, you'll have to cut it out!

For the money they are junk!!

Take a look at Big Jims Rhinehart blem bucks. For $300 you could get two of them with two extra inserts and have money left over. Well...after shipping, maybe a little over.  :saywhat:

worst target i have ever owned. i have had cheapo deltas that have lasted years while the glen del lasted two weeks and the insert flap broke and the center kept falling out. and they are full of metal bars.

Get a RINEHART from big jims, my Glendale's legs fell off in the first week, the core is ok the rest of the target is trash

I have had a Reinhart Woodland Buck for a few years and it is holding up well. They are under $150 bucks - add a 18-1 Reinhart and there goes your $300 - ha!

I agree with almost everyone else, the Glendale just did not hold up long at all. My wife bought one for my son and I for Christmas one year and within only a few months it was in pieces, I used expanding foam to glue it back together several times. Those plastic legs are a nightmare. BeauJ
