camo paint job for bow

I'm making a glass laminated longbow for a friend.  During glue up, I had a vaneer split open when I put the pressure on.  The split looks terrible and I decided to camo the bow, keep it and build the guy a new bow.  

My question is do I spray the thunderbird over the camo paint or before I put it on.  I don't want a removeable paint job but a permant one.  

What kind of paint?  Chad

I would think sealing before the camo would be the best bet as this would allow the thunderbird to bind to the fiberglass and lams themselves instead of just the paint surface. Then camo and seal again. Let's see what others think.  TTT

I have had great luck with a spray from rustoleum.
It is a textured paint about 5 bucks a can at walmarts. I sprayed a bow for my brother and then took leaves for the camo high lights.
The texture worked so good on the handle I did mine.

Thanks.  I think it would be best to seal the wood with TB first then paint over it with whatever.  Hacksaw do you have any pictures?  Chad
