I have a wilson bros. widow with white limbs. There are two small holes I need to fill ....

What is the best way to make a white epoxy / match the limb color. Any tricks/ suggestions? Thanks

You might be able find white epoxy. I think I've seen it in the past. Whether I will match the white on the bow I don't know. You might contact Widow and see if they have suggestions.

I just mix the 2 parts together well first on some thick paper or whatever.

Then add a little paint..just a few drops generally does it..for 1/2 teaspoon total epoxy. ymmv

You can mix and match colors to get just what you want.

I've made some "turquoise" replacement gems using that technique too in people's jewelry..with their full knowledge of course.

You can put a drop of white/brown/orange/gold paint on a pin head and sorta "dot" it or run the tip through the pool of blue epoxy to give the blue glob the color specs and make it look really nice...

I bought it at lowes about 10 years ago.Not sure if its still being made.

The Testors will sure work, but what I have used is artist pastels.  It comes in sticks as chalk and you shave off dust with a knife blade into the epoxy.  Buy it at art supply stores.

White is suprisingly difficult to match perfectly.  There are a lot of different shades of white!  If you are lucky and the bottle of Testors matches well for you that would be the cheapest option.  But for doing a wide range of colors and matching shades exactly I found the pastel chalks give better variety.
