Rhinehart 18-1 Target Replacement Question
« on: March 08, 2014, 01:35:00 PM »
I have a 18-1 that I shoot everyday.  I've had it for about 3 months now, and it's pretty torn up.  I get pass thrus on some sides, and on most sides field points stick out the far side every shot.

To get it replaced do I need the little red tag that was attached to it?  I have my reciept, but the tag got shot off and lost outside.  Anyone know if that's going to be an issue?

Probably unless they reg. the number where you bought it and they would be willing to vouch for you. Take your receipt back to purchase store along with target. Also this is only a one time thing, I have shot through numerous 18-1 targets. They do-not last near a year if you shoot a lot like we do. Good luck bro.

Thank you for your help!  Didn't know it was a one time thing.  Guess I'd better make sure its really shot out before I swap it out then.

I would go to Rhineharts website and see if you can get a solid definition of what a "shot out" target is. I had the Rhinoblock and I believe it had a 2yr warranty, I replaced the insert once and by the time the replacement was almost done the target body wouldn't hold it anymore.
