Snag, You Know, Snag!
« on: March 12, 2014, 03:58:00 PM »
After a month of frustration of trying to get my first batch of cedar arrows flying 'right' and true to what I'm used to seeing from my carbons, I pulled the trigger and got in touch with David at Wilderness Custom Arrows. He's been a great help in shaft selection and an absolute pleasure to deal with for accepting an order the way you wish. I can't wait to get my box. I'm hoping that having some real arrows (professionally crafted, as opposed to my recent attempt) will get my mind off of the challlenge and maybe back into hopes of one day crafting my own arrows again, but if not, I'm keeping David's email address close at hand!

Thanks Snag!
Shoot Straight..

David makes the best woods I have ever used. They also are the nicest looking. Want to really treat yourself spring for a set with all the fancy feather work. He is a master.

God bless, Steve

Rory, the postal service says they were delivered on 3/8...you got them didn't you?

Scott, I was seeing pink for a few days after shipping your arrows...haha

Thank you for the kind remarks. I truly love serving others by building arrows for you. Then to have this kind of feedback it is really a blessing.
Sometimes I wish I could get them to you quicker. But you just can't rush somethings.

I have three dozen and two more coming all in different color schemes.  You can't go wrong with any of Snag's creations no matter what color combination they are. That Chartreuse and Purple or possibly pink does sound interesting. Hmmmm

I started with wood.  Always the best having a freshly broken, scarlet wooden shaft on the autumn floor!  Think I need to go back.  They are fun!

I shipped these out to a lady in B.C. the other day. I hear she's a very good shot. Might be the next Canadian National Champ.

These went to Spokane, Wa. to a very fine bow builder.

Just another set that went out.

Looking good Snag! I really like those yellow on white, but they're all some fine looking arrows.
