Generally speaking, I'm cheap.  If I can make it / do it myself, I will.  I can make arrows.  I've done it before.

I order mine from Snag, now.

Affordable, fully functional and absolutely beautiful.

Finished these today. I am a little surprised more guys don't order the 4-4" fletched. These ought to show up pretty good.

Rory, I agree. I love the contrast of the ebony stain with the bright color of the fletching.

Here are my "snag" arrows  :)  They also are meat seekeers even though he won't say that in public.

Steadman, that's a fine looking batch there!

David, I've wondered about a four fletch. A buddy of mine uses it for slowing down target arrows. I don't know if it truly has that affect, but I've wondered.

Two years ago I threw all the wood arrows I had in a fire pit at a 3D shoot and swore them off for good. I just can't seem to figure them out.

But........

Every time snag starts a thread, I can't help but open it up and look at the beauties he has created. Snag, you truly are an artist!

Rory, if you shoot 4 4" fletching it won't slow them down anymore than 3 5". If you go to 4 5" it definitely will slow them down. I shoot 4 4" shield and can't tell a difference from the 3 5".

Jerome, not the campfire!!! haha  Give me your specs, bow and draw length, and I'll make you a couple of testers to shoot. I just can't see a guy in a bad way with wood. You pay the shipping and I'll send you a couple of testers.

Thanks for bringing that to mind Mr. Fingers- now I've got to either loosen up the groups that I've tried so hard to tighten, or only shoot them one at a time for fear of having them hit one another!  ;)

Went over to Davids today to pick up some arrows he did up for me. I saw him at the TAO banquet this year and told him what I was looking for and he said he'd see what he could do. Well these are awesome never shot 4 fletch before and I'm impressed to say the least Thanks David.
