2013 Silvertip Kill Thread
« on: March 16, 2014, 09:48:00 AM »
Let's see some critters shot with Schafer Silvertips from last year.  If you didn't get anything last fall then post a nice pic of you and  your bow.   :)

Last fall due to low deer numbers and assorted other excuses I only got one shot, but made good on it, so here is my entry to start it all off.  62" Silvertip pulling 55lbs at 29".  I'll try to post a picture of just the bow at some point too.  Rick.

I don't believe you unless I see pictures of it.   :)   Looks like your avatar has some photographic evidence.

I shot a very big Ohio 6 point this year with my Silvertip recurve. It is a 62" 54# at my draw length and using cedar arrows. I will send A couple of pictures to someone if they will post them for me. Thanks. Bob

These are the only 2 from this year.  One with a 3-piece longbow and one with a recurve.  I shot my bear this year with my Robertson.

Keith I sent you a pm with my email.  If you click on my name you can find it in there too.  Nice pictures guys.  Thanks for sharing!  Hopefully some more will come along.  The limb veneers are Shedua on that bow.  Cacciatore I'm looking forward to seeing your boar pics.  Rick.

Love Silvertip recurve bows!
To me, they are simply the best.
Thanks Felix
