Stalker on my doorstep
« on: March 18, 2014, 09:19:00 PM »
Came home at lunch to find my new Stalker bow waiting.  I knew from the minute I inspected the box that this would be something special. The detail that went into just the packing spoke volumes. It is the Wolverine FXT static recurve 60 inches with 2 sets of limbs. 50 @28 and 40 @ 28.  The riser is myrtle and zebra wood with myrtle veneers.  Set the bow up with no issues and was shooting at lunch with the fine tuning later in the day. I really appreciate South Cox's expertise and knowledge. This is my first custom bow  and I had many questions and a few order changes.  The fit and finish of this bow is second to none.  There is literally no seam between the riser and the limbs on either pair.   I have several other bows from big name bowyers and this bow is quieter than any of the others even without the string silencers in place.  I  was a bit concerned about stringing the static limbs based on other posts but it is a nonissue.  She shoots where I look and can't wait to get into the woods.  Here piggy piggy piggy!  This experience has far exceeded my expectations which is rare in this day and time.  Thanks again Stalker!!

On the right hand side of the image in Photobucket there is a LINKS TO SHARE box. Copy the like that is labeled IMG. That will get you running.

The last one you shared it to the whole album.
