Shed Day
« on: March 30, 2014, 06:58:00 PM »
Well finally got a 60 degree day today. I called Mike and asked him if he wanted to walk some. He said sure that he needed to take down his stands so we went out to his place. We rode and rode and walked and looked with nothing most the day. We did find three that didn't survive the winter.

As we were about to leave I looked up the way and under a cedar tree I saw some bone. I hollered at Mike and we went over to check it out.

I no more than got "Lets get off the bikes and walk around the other has to be here close" when I looked down the hill about 30 yards and saw another one. On the way down to it I was hoping it was the match.

It was the other side. Mike knows the deer and has several trail cam pics of him.

This was the only take for the day but after thinking we were going to be skunked we were pleased with the these two gifts.

Better get out there soon Allen, the greenery is about to explode making finding them very difficult.
