My knife was busy.
« on: April 06, 2014, 04:55:00 PM »
Just reflecting back on my past Trad. archery season and was thinking how busy my knife was because it had to dress 3 deer. It was given to me a couple years ago by a member on here Toecutter, thanks Nathan. How busy was your knife this past season?

I have used my knives daily - opening envelopes, cutting string, cardboard, copper wire, and, oh yeah, a couple of years ago they (or at least one of them) field dressed a whitetail.

But, they're all shaving sharp and ready to answer the call if a Michigan whitetail gets clumsy and dumb enough to stumble by me this fall.

My hunting knives have been "resting" for quite some time now. Sharp and ready but "resting"...
The daily carry ones are busy though.

Cleaned a pile of squirrels, my deer and had a partial helping hand on six other deer and a hog taken by friends   Actually a slow year when I think of it.

I'm hoping Nathan chimes in with the details on the knife.

Jim,

Great Pic and awesome knife.

I am on Nathan's list for one.  From what I heard, these warm winters has made his waiting time near 10 years   :smileystooges:

Care to shed some light on this brother?   ;)    :p       :biglaugh:

During the season, my knife got bored and stayed home... and I never knew it.
