^ yes, it does not "water proof" the shafts very well, and when the coats get too built up the stuff does crack. like I said, I am switching to ProFin.
These shafts are for my wife, she generally isn't as harsh as I am with my arrows. :D
the Gasket Lacquer is easy and fast, but clearly not the best.
There are many how too's on marbling, basicaly get a small vase that is filled with water deep enough to dip the arrow cap into. drop 4-8 drops of enamel paint on the surface and drag them around lightly with the point of a toothpick or an exacto blade. Dip and spin the shafts into the water and paint and pull out. let dry. EZPZ.
