Hog Hunt Suggestions
« on: April 16, 2014, 07:05:00 AM »
Hey all,

I'm looking for a fair chase hog hunt for me, a friend of mine, and his 13 year old son. We are all traditional archers.
We would all like to obviously harvest hogs, but our main goal is for his son to harvest. If his son gets an opportunity, we would consider the hunt a great success.
We reside in Ohio but are willing to travel a bit.
Any suggestions for a good hog hunting outfitter?

Swamphunts in Georgia. Great people and lots of wild fair chase hogs.

Mule Creek Outfitters, contact Jacob, their lease is just outside Crane, TX.  All kinds of hogs and javelina tearing up the oil fields out there.

Another vote here for Jim and Irv at True South Adventures. My wife and I are planning our 4th trip with them. Fair chase all the way.

Osceola outfitters in Florida. I am on my way back while I write this. I just took 6 pigs with Hoppy Kempfer and my hunting buddy shot 4, all with trad gear.

Thanks guys. You got that right Florida Lime! PM sent Irishhacker. Bill Langer's 11 year old son Ben took 3 hogs with us back in February. They are on Traditional Adventures 9, I just watched it today. Great video!
