I am with Dave Pagel on this, plus the limbs design makes for a very smooth and progressive draw

Maybe its because they are the legacy of one of the greatest Bow hunters in the world. Dave has surely done Paul Schafer proud!

I got away for awhile to longbows and have found my way back to silvertips. I have had a ton of bows and I keep coming back to tips. They just shoot good for me and I ain't leaving this time

Thats a nice PA buck.  Pretty bows too.  Grew up in Union county a few centuries ago.

I agree with Dave Pagel too.

Rick Welch built me one of his Dakota Pro Hunters.

It's got a great grip (with finger grooves like the Zipper) and it has center riser mass weight.

It is my most accurate bow.

Recently I was offered full price for it.

I don't think I can part with it.

Nothing is quite like a silvertip.
I personally feel they are the best hunting bows on earth.

Having owned in excess of 300 bows in my lifetime, by every top end bowyer out there, all I can say is there are 4 bows on my rack right now, one original one piece TIP built by Paul and 3 custom 3 piece T/D TIPS built by Dave and I have a new one on order. They just do it for me.

An excess of 300 Danny. Come on, that sounds a bit conservative!

That explains it.  Kat's bow just knows what to do like a well trained horse or dog.  It is a beauty.       Attention to detail, good design and good materials.

But secretly he likes longbows.  Just don't let that word get out.
