I'm planning another spring bear hunt for 2015 and have been checking out the Cabinet Mountain Wilderness in Montana. Anybody have experience there? I spent some time in the national forests in the area but no real success. Not real interested in outfitters just DIY stuff. Thanks boys!

You might check with the game dept. biologist. I know there is a good pop. of Griz.; some areas have lots of snow, others almost none.
