New Strunk Boo and Osage Selfbow-pics

Some will say that aint no self bow--that there's a backed bow! LOL!
A beauty it is in any man's language and shoots just as sweet.

I have a collection of John's bows. He is a masterful bowyer. Bet you can't have just one    :) .

Eastern: Belly is Osage. Oregon: yes the tip o'lays are horn. I am told that is a Strunk hallmark. Thanks for all the good comments and this one won't be my last Strunk for sure.

I did Danny. First he made a Boo and Yew 4 layer bow that weakened and developed string follow; then he offered to make this one from a
known stave-it is marvy to look at and shoots really smooth. The Bamboo backing looks to be very thin, so the bow is mostly Osage.
