Natrual blinds
« on: April 23, 2014, 10:18:00 AM »
During last bow season I constructed a blind using cornstocks. Being the growing season is about here, what do you think of growing your own natrual growing blind by planting corn seeds?
Has anyone tried this?

You growing it in a field or in the woods. Corn would need a good bit of sunlight, water and nutrients to get full height.

I agree with David.

I did once plant some evergreens in a spot once...about 15 years ago. Made a really cool blind.

If you have spot where you have good deer travel and the corn is not out of place I would say go for it. Maybe 2 places so you work a favorable wind! If it's bad one way you can go to the other.

Only problem I see is the deer (most likely coons)might tear up the blind while eating it.

Why don't you use the source you used for last season's blind?
