What exactly do you consider "high performance"?

Dryad, Fedora, Schafer, Eaglewing, Bigfoot and about 50 more. Anyone who is a sponsor will likely qualify at least from a customer service perspective and I don't know anyone who builds a 'low performance' bow.   :archer2:

I agree with Bjorn completely.  From looking at Clint's signature line I believe his high performance request likely equates to technological advances in materials.  Likely carbon/foam or carbon/whatever combos.  Not all makers use those materials, but there are plenty that do.

Save a pound or two Clint and just kill some grass.

Boo Baby!  Plenty fast and a more natural sound and feel IMHO.

Best of luck Sir!

Journeyman Archery makes a recurve that is second to none in my opinion. The Journeyman bows shoot as well as they look. Good luck in your search my friend.

Bigfoot SS, Stalker, RER, Morrison, Zipper, AandH
EagleWing, Belly and top mount models of Talon11, Storm Eagle and Steppe Eagle, Caribow SS , Many have high performance statics and also carbon models. However in the really good limb designs there is not much difference in the glass and carbon performance.
I am sure I missed a bunch of real good ones and do apologize to those bowyers. I did try to name ones I believe make carbon and static curves.

God bless and better luck, Steve

Lots of great bowyers out there.  Despite being a hybrid guy, if I were to be looking for a recurve, I'd call Bob Morrison......we'll see what happens when Abe's Tuktu shows up on my doorstep.

Really, Clint, there are  three totally different bows you should consider (in addition to the hundreds of others people will mention). Bob Morrison makes a very high performance carbon/foam core recurve which has been at the top of its class for years, as he continues to innovate. Dick Robertson makes the Wolfer; a completely new innovative design like nothing you have ever seen before.  Dave Windauer makes the Stradivarius of bows, the Schafer Silvertip; not on the cutting edge of anything, but not matched by anything either.

Black Widow
Bob Morrison
Zipper

These three meet your criteria nicely & I can personally recommend them from my experiences with them.
