I'm going to use my treesaddle for the first time this season with my 4 lonewolf steps. Anyone have advice or tricks to make the experience better?

Get a set of knee pads.
What are you going to use for a standing platform? I use four of the strap-on steps, all mounted on one strap.
I like using the Simmons Woodpecker Drill and 3/8" bolts for climbing. Once a tree is drilled, I can use the same holes on the next hunt.
Remember that you will be able to shoot better on the left side of the tree, if you're right handed. So, position yourself accordingly.

Practice hooking up at home a few feet off the ground before hunting. Also doing the treesuit at night before sunrise is not a good idea.
When hooking in, you must lean back and put tension on the rope so your hands are free and not hugging onto the tree-THIS TAKES COMMITMENT.
The straps can at times slip down on the tree and this is unnerving. I have at times put 1 tree step or 1 bolt with the woodpecker drill, to keep the straps from going south when I first started out with the treesuit.
