I have been asked about hotels and things in the area so here is some info
All you need to do is GOOGLE "Hotels Greenwood Indiana" or "Hotels Downtown Indianapolis" depending on where you want to stay. I can recommend some specific restaurant or things to do and see in person at the clinic.
I recommend staying Downtown Indy for nightlife and attractions, or near intersection US 31 South and I-465 or intersection I-65 and Main St. in Greenwood depending on budget and where you are coming from. (all within 10-20 minutes or so from The Outdoorsman)
Downtown Indy has many hotels. Get hotel in heart of the city on Meridian St., Illinois St., Capitol Ave or Washington St. You will find Hilton Garden Inn, Westin, Hampton Inn, Courtyard Marriot, Hyatt, ect. Everything is a short walk from downtown with tons of restaurants, bars, breweries, sport, monuments, etc. If you have specific questions just ask me. Downtown will be more fun but more $$$!
Option 2 is closer to The Outdoorsman. Intersection of US 31 South and I-465 on Indy's south side. MAKE SURE TO CONFIRM THIS IS THE HOTEL AT THIS INTERSECTION since more than one in town
Super 8, Holiday Inn Express, Comfort Inn South.
Lots of local and chain restaurants and a few bars on US 31 South and S. R. 135 South. Go North 10 minutes and you are downtown. Go South 10 minutes and you are at The Outdoorsman. Less money option.
Option 3 is also closer to The Outdoorsman and good if coming up I-65 from the South. Intersection of I-65 and Main St. in Greenwood. MAKE SURE TO CONFIRM THIS IS THE HOTEL AT THIS INTERSECTION since more than one in town.
Red Roof Inn, La Quinta Inn Greenwood, Red Carpet Inn Fanta Suites
These are 20-25 minutes from downtown and 15 minutes from The Outdoorsman. Chain and local restaurants and some shopping nearby. These are your cheapest but least nice options!
Note: I am local so have only stayed in hotels downtown occasionally. I can not personally give a thumbs up or down to any of these other hotels.
Do what is best for you! You get what you pay for. Please call or email with questions. Guys at The Outdoorsman may know of some other options.
