PAW bows
« on: February 26, 2006, 04:47:00 PM »
Just spoke with Marc from PAW bows.  What a great guy to deal with.  Just wanted some opinions on his bows especially the Mckean and the Somerset.  Any pics you would like to share of these bows would be awesome too.  Seriously thinking of getting one.  Thanks, Sam

Sam, first saw these bows at the appalachian shoot in WV and the guy lives a hour or so from my home. Craftsmanship is superb and he takes great pains to make them right. I have never shot one myself but I know of two or three guys that have these bows and say they are shooters and they are the only bows they use fulltime now. You could ask for some references and call them and talk to them. There happens to be a picture of one in the thread of pics of hunting bows on pow wow right now.....Mac~

Sam,

I have a Cameron that Mark made me last Aug...hunted with it all fall...a pure pleasure to carry in the woods. Mark is, as you know a real fine gentelman to deal with...a hidden gem in the bowmaking world. His Somerset is one of the only longbows I have ever shot and shot it well right from the start. PM if I can be of anymore help.
