Backquiver give away
« on: January 22, 2007, 06:19:00 AM »
Ok folks, I have a great back quiver that was made by Shell and since she is making me another larger one I decided to give this one away. It is sized more for a lady or young person than a 245 pound 6'1" bear like me,LOL.

So if ya want a great quiver for the wife, girlfriend or if you are a smaller build manly man, post on here and I will pick the winner in a week.

Wow, that is really cool of you. I have a fiancee who had shot the old fiberglass recurves in college for a class and i asked her if i got her a bow if she would shoot with me she said yes, so i have been on ebay and stuff looking for a lefty recurve around 30 - 35 pounds at 24 - 25..bid on two and lost, so i'm still at it...but please put my name in the drawing...that would be great for her, plus I am taking the steps to start making my own arrows and arrows for her too so that would be really cool. Anyway, the fact you are doing this is awesome...folks in traditional archery are like non other!

Thanks, mark...aka thunderhorn25

Hey Danny,

I just went through my files to find a pic of that one but think it got deleted when we had problems with our computer about a year ago...

That one was in dark brown bison and rough edged gold tipped shearling cuff I believe with a pocket and a single burr. The depth is at least 22 inches deep and do believe it was made both for R or L hand.

If I can find a pic somewhere on a disc, I will try and post.

You are truly a gracious and wonderful person!! And is an honor and pleasure to know you as "family"!

Shell

It looks similar to this photo except with no fringe cuff and more of a shearling draped over the top and one single burr in the middle. Sorry, I don't have the original pic anymore.

I'm new at traditional shooting and I'm getting my nephew started as well. It would be great to be able to give him such a nice quiver. Please consider me. Thank you very much. Greg

could you put the name "Jesse Linton" in the hat?
he is my son's best bud and some of us TGers are mentoring him into this great sport.
he is the son of the "Forest Witch" here on the 'gang.
thanks BD
