John
that taipain is gorgeous. My taipan also has a bocote riser. The pointabilityand target acquisition speed of the Taipan is mind blowing.

all of james's bows are just rock solid works of art and have all of the shooting characteristics anyone could ask for. But for some reason on moving targets or just quick shots the type and seems to settle into target effortlessly

Studied the pictures several more times this afternoon. Just keeps looking prettier. It is now clear to me what James means by encased. Very nice!

Thanks everyone and thanks James, I'll be calling you on Monday  :)

Katman, I'm excited for you to get one of these  :)  I don't want to hype it up too much... But it's pretty much the best feeling bow you're ever going to shoot  :)

Bluegoose... You have to see the encased part in person, in the sun it shimmers, just a tad... It's gorgeous!

the grip is amazing on this one!

Jobn, sounds like you 2 are getting along nicely, congrats again on a really fine looking bow.

Brian you ain't making the wait any easier.

James maybe I missed it some time before, what's a 'dam core'? And I do like that look in this bow.

A "dam" core is when James runs out of his boo so he just throws any "dam" thing in there.  LOL

Got a call from James Monday. My North Star is being built . James said he's starting to do the math and ratios  to glass and core thickness  the man is a mad professer!   Asked if I could get the balsa wood riser and Formica lams  but he's building them for certain tradgangers !    Man that taipan looks great .  Guess what's next     Thank you James.
