Even a blind hog...

...will pick up an acorn now and then! I've been shooting trad awhile. After a few busted nocks I finally managed a 'Hood', 20 yards, nice little "starburst" with the split nock imbedded. Arrow bounced out, but it's just as well. I'm a tightwad and would have reused the undamaged one anyway, lol.

It's definitely cool when you do this the first time! I remember mine fondly. Stopped shooting groups when I started damaging too many fletches haha. Now I shoot one arrow at a time most times and just try to hit the point I'm aiming at more than anything. Also, good exercise walking back and forth to bag each time LOL

Nice job..
But it's more fun to do it to a friends arrow.

First one was cool now I shoot at different spots or one arrow at a time.
