Mike singlehandly tried to put the wild turkey on the Endangered Species List this year.

This year was a banner year but next year I hear should be even better for Mike and turkeys. I think he needs to start talking to Mexican outfitters so he can add the Gould's to his list next spring.

Here is a short story about Mike.We met along with David(SheltonCreeker} and a couple of Canadians at Ray Hammonds.I could tell he was a topnotch hunter and great guy with his stories.He was hog huting having never killed one and I was Turkey hunting morning having never killed one and hog the afternoon.Mike missed the last morning hog hunt to try and call one for me that he had seen the morning before and almost happened but only got within 70yards of the bird.Fast forward the next spring Mike invited me to his house to hunt Turkeys at his home.He did everything possible to get me a bird even missing work at his own business but 3 1/2 half days of rain didn't help.We both still have some business to take care of I have to get Mike down to La. to get him a hog and some specs and reds.Guess my short story wasn't so short but I know one thing he is a hell of a hunter and a Gentleman.Kip

Fellas I can only say that having shared camp with most of you, to a man, I'd have you as campmates anytime! I am looking forward to the day when I get to hunt with TxAg, SteveO and Randy as well    

Kip, I owe you a bird and you owe me some etouffe    The reds and hogs will be a bonus.

I hunted some phenomenal places for turkeys this year and got sooooo lucky! Here's to good friends, demon birds from hades, and Tradgang
