Tapped the top hole where the button was (hate those things) and use a side mount Delta bowquiver.

That's genius Charlie, never would've thought of that, now I could use a selway side mount. And particular precautions to take besides not drilling to deep?

I just got my mag riser monday. I'm in the process of stripping the paint off now. Still deciding what paint to put on it once I'm done, but I'm thinking a coat of white with a coat of transparent blank over that.

Anybody know of a supplier of bear grips? The Hoyt grip is too small for me, and I'd like to pick up an original bear grip

I have an extra Bear mag grip or two in right hand high wrist if that's what you are looking for.

What grip is usually most on par with the usual bear

Just be careful if you grind on the riser or if you have filings on the bench when done... it's magnesium.
I didn't sweep mine up and while grinding a piece of steel sent some sparks into the magnesium filings... very hot fire very fast!!f

In terms of Bear mag TD grips: the #1 low grip is like the wood B riser. The #2 medium grip is most like the A wood riser. The #3 high grip is a lot like the Bear Kodiak Hunter grip.
I hope that helps.

I don't have pics but I recently traded for an A-mag riser and 60" limbs and also found some 58" limbs my favorite length.I stripped it completly and painted it an olive drab and sealed it.Bow shoots great and very light in the hand. Mag riser has no wgt. to speak of.Had always been intrested in them since the 70's now I finally have one.I will probably dip one pair of limbs.Kip
