Axis cutting ??

Can you cut axis arrows from the nock end? Pull the nocks and cut them then replace the nock? cant cut them from the insert end after you epoxy the insert in.

Yes, you can cut them from the back end, but it will make your arrow stiff.

Thanks I been wonderin what I was gonna do with those. They are 29, and I need to knock em down to 28.

When you say stiff do you mean stiff as in making an arrow shorter makes it stiffer, or is there something about cutting an arrow from the nock end makes it stiffer?

Are they flying good at 29",cutting carbons 1" really increases the spine stiffness.That is only 1" are you trying to get them just past your draw length? I've seen carbons that were cut first alittle too short and I couldn't get them to fly well no matter how much weight I put up front.Carbons don't tune the same as wood or aluminum arrows.Carbons are not availible in as many different spines as wood or aluminum.Why do you need to knock them down to 28"?
