They're not bad eating, if you feel like going through the hassle of cleaning them!
A tip I learned the hard way: make sure you get ALL of the "silverskin" off of the meat when you chunk it up for nuggets. If you don't, you'll be chewing that piece 'til next season!!
I've also found that I hafta aim low for bowfishin', and the deeper they are, the lower ya hafta aim. (Refraction and all).
